Ok so I have decided to start a blog to record all the fun and exciting things that happen as a Stay At Home Mom! I'm usually not very creative, but want to give it a try! So let me tell you a little bit about our family!
Scott and I had our first date on November 6, 2008. It definitely was far from normal. He took me out for some sightseeing in the desert at night. He took me out to Robbin's Butte, Arlington, north end of Watson Road, and ended the night by taking me to a little hilltop north of Miller Road. We stayed up all night just talking, listening to music, and getting to know each other. It was by far the best date ever! We married the following year on October 23, 2009. We had a small ceremony and reception with our family and friends. At this point I didn't think life could get any better! Little did I know that would quickly change.
February 2010 was a month that changed our lives! We found out we were pregnant with our first child! We were due September 22, 2010. Our hearts were filled with joy and excitement for what was in store! We found out we were having a girl and decided to name her Ryelynn Marie Svea Owens. I know it's a mouthful :), but we gave her my name as a middle name to carry on the name of my FarMor (father's mother).
Ryelynn graced us with her presence on September 16, 2010 at 11:03am. She weighed 6 lbs 2 oz and was 18 inches long! Tiny just like her mommy! We were elated with joy at the sight of our beautiful healthy daughter! Life truly couldn't get any better! Ever since I have had fun staying home with Ryelynn. I am truly blessed to have the ability to get to stay home with her!
